| Description: | Provide software development support to the Fires Center of Excellence Capabilities Developments and Integration Detachment.
Serve as part of team responsible for integrating and supporting developed software in large exercises and demos.
Assist in the integration of developed software and give feedback about their inter-operability with systems currently employed by the US military.
Serve as a government site interface to a larger team of software engineers.
Answer questions about installation, operation, configuration, customization and usage of developed systems and services.
Apply diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes and recommend solutions to correct common failures.
Required: Bachelor's Degree and 0-2 years of experience. Experience programming in JAVA, C++ and SQL. Experience operating/programming in a Linux/UNIX environment and utilizing BASH scripts. Must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Desired but not required: Experience in programming in a military environment. Experience with seting up and maintaining networks. |
