| Description: | We are looking for an experienced SharePoint Developer to join our team. This is a full-time on-site position supporting one of our valued government customers, and you’ll be joining a well-established enterprise automation group already in place. You will be expected to lead current and future SharePoint-related efforts, to include management of sites, content, users, roles, document libraries, workflows, and security, as well as work with other members of the team to develop new solutions in SharePoint Designer and .Net that will be accessed through the SharePoint interface. (Other required and preferred capabilities are listed below.) Along with the required technical expertise, you will be expected to have excellent communication and documentation skills, enjoy working with a team, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Requirements:
- 1 - 3 years experience managing SharePoint sites and developing custom webparts
- 3+ years experience developing applications in MS Visual Studio
- ASP.Net, VB.Net, or C#
- SharePoint Designer
- Development and management of metadata
- Relational Database Design
- Microsoft SQL Server, MS Access
- Full lifecycle software development
- XML, web services, HTML, JavaScript
- MS Office Suite
- Self-starter and proven problem-solver, with the capacity to support multiple projects concurrently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must enjoy and excel working in a team environment
Preferred, but not required:
- InfoPath, SilverLight, custom SharePoint workflows
- BS in Computer Science, MIS, or other related field
NOTE: This is not a SharePoint architect or server administration position. Those duties, along with system upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery, are performed by a separate IT staff. However, experience in SharePoint server administration and configuration is a plus, as it will only enhance your ability to support the user community and develop successful SharePoint sites and solutions.
Security Clearance will be needed.
