| Description: | Required: BS in Information Systems or equivalent, 10+ years experience in AIX system administration. Experience with Operating System (OS) deployment as well as system performance tuning and monitoring, application of security patches and knowledge of compliance regulations. Knowledge of Symantec NetBackup a plus. Candidate should show proficiency in the installation of new hardware, software, upgrades and backup recovery procedures.
Responsibilities: Responsible for performing system administration, performance management, capacity planning, security compliance, problem determination, problem resolution, equipment build and repair, Operating System (OS) deployment and upgrades, application of security patches on AIX systems. |
